LIGHT UP WI: revived

Hey Everybody!

I know we have been inactive in the past couple of months but I would am here to reassure that despite our absence, we are still steadily providing our resources to those in need.

I’m also extremely excited to announce our expansion from not only Madison, to Rockford, Illinois as well!

In case you guys haven’t been keeping up with the news it is becoming known that with the rise of climate change comes the rise of problems with our Earth’s creatures. Thanks to a new study conducted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the negative impacts of a changing climate are coming much quicker than expected - especially when it comes to venomous creatures.

The IPCC’s new study which was, in short, a massive analysis of poisonous aquatic animals, said that we can start to expect to start encountering dangerous species more and more often in ranges we haven’t seen them in before.

For example, lion fish, sea snakes, crown-of-thorns starfish and a number of different types of venomous jellies will be moving towards the poles due to warmer waters.
